We scored on the first drive and then had a couple drives that fizzled. One of those was the drop by Matthews. Still scored 28 in the first half and had 5 straight TD possessions. Faizon was 10 of 12 and rushing stat was decent but as you say it’s clear the staff was looking for something better in the run game, not what they expected to be faced with. Maybe they thought the QB debut was going to be the focus. All in all iMO it might be for the best that the OLine could get some hard coaching going into GT.
