Like everyone here has said, I don't care if he was playing a different scheme than anyone else. I don't care if he thought the ball was handed off, he should have been doing SOMETHING, ANYTHING at full speed until the whistle blew. Disconnected controller is the perfect description. It's like his brain glitched. He just stood up and stopped playing like he was a spectator. I don't know if I've ever seen anything like that before. I sure hope it gets drilled into his (and the whole team's) head that a football player cannot do that. Even if you don't know what you're supposed to do, do something with 100% effort. Nothing is worse than what he did.
