Nolan James
Summary
OL/RB: I have said it multiple times Williams and James are not Love and Price.
I have said it multiple times Williams and James are not Love and Price. However, as i have allot for stated their true value may not be running the football as much as catching the football. There will be games of 100 plus yards but most likely will be done by committee. There was a comment made during the game about why Williams is running back kicks. The same thing said about Price early on. Whether its returning kicks or returning punts, those indivuduals must have some degree of speed but for me i think its of more importance be illusive either at the point of attack with punts or in the open field with kick returns. Faison is the right person for punts and Williams for kicks. When you talk of Williams and James and you saw some of it Sunday night, when they were patient they saw the holes they hit them. Thats why i believe they will be good targets for Carr, safery valve passes. Both are players of similar nature as Faison, catch a five yard pass and take it 35 yards. I think that between Williams, James and Young those three players will get you tough yards rushing but in the passing game, they will be a nightmare for a defense. Yet as stated, this was only game 1. Historically, ND's offensive line starts slow, but by mid season i think the holes will get bigger and runs longer.
