It’s akin to the Michigan-Western Michigan game. Wrt last night, the officiating was so aggressively slanted It granted Portland their only two scoring chances and denied City two clear scoring chances. That doesn’t account for Portland retaining possession repeatedly by diving, and City having the ball taken away on identical challenges. At one point, Becher was denied a chance by the CB holding him by the shoulders. 4 seconds later, Becher was whistled for a foul for the exact same behavior. The Mcknaughton foul was cleaner than the no call at the other end where Navarro was taken down in a similar position on the edge of the box. Frankly, given the circumstances, I’m happy we escaped with a point.
