****This take on the SEC
Summary
SEC "it just means more" culture forces tougher schedules; Big Ten avoids this by having fewer football-focused schools.
I heard someone on SXM College Sports make a similar argument in a more convincing way. He said that the “it just means more” thing hurts the SEC. The BIG doesn’t have it and just just 6-7 schools live and die for football. Whereas all of the SEC schools do. He said even South Carolina does. But the pervasive attitude leads to tougher schedules.
