You can have all the talent in the world and still be very average (see the scUM teams of the past 10 years). Will this team come together and play as a unit? Maybe, if they do then I would guess that the 3-9 season would not define them or limit them this year. There are teams that, all things considered, would be impossible to beat (Miami, SMU...), but the rest are beatable and, if a well coached and locked in team shows up...I would say the odds are 50/50 or better. 10 wins...doubtful - But I am on the likely side of the fence for 8 wins if Franklin properly prepared and can coach them.
