The last 5 years are no where near elite regardless of what the numbers say. Clemson has been run off the field every time they've played an elite team since TL, and even TL's last game was a disappointment, not to lose, but to the degree it was lost. Dabo called his current contract a "market correction" at the time. Since his last championship he's made almost $70mil. That's a lot of reward for the past. Then he went and made Clemson football his personal play toy in the manner in which he has handed out scholarships and playing time including his kids. Dabo has been very well compensated for all the great things he has done at Clemson. And now he claps back at the fans. Yep, put millions of dollars of your customers in your pocket and then get made with them. We've seen how that works in other places. No where in a fortune 500 based company would the last 5 years of performance and compensation be allowed if it were Clemson's performance. I'd love for Dabo to fix it. It won't be this season though. Maybe if Tate plays at a high level we the fans could be optimistic for the following season... if Clemson can hang on to him.
