The Aztecs lost a LOT of our tackles, PBUs, havoc, interceptions, etc.  4. This was game one.  Even though UCLA is a lot better than Portland St and I expect UCLA to score more points than Portland St, I do hope that our defense looks better, even if the stats are worse - if that makes any sense.  What were your thoughts on Saunders in his limited minutes? I'm not an experienced analyst, but he seemed much quicker in his reads and execution than Denegal did. I don't think I've felt this good about a backup QB slash starter-in-waiting for a long time.
