I watched the game last night before I went to bed to get the taste of the football game out of my brain. We benefitted from two late calls. One was a second yellow card on UCLA's central defender. which honestly was a pretty weak call. But they were down to us 2-1 at the time with 15 minutes left, and having to play a man down really put a damper on any attempt at a comeback by them. The second call was a reversal of a PK called against us, also while we were up a goal. Coach McElderry called for a video review, and it showed that in order to receive the pass which resulted in the foul against us in the box, the UCLA forward had pushed our defender from behind and sent him sprawling. So the subsequent foul against our guy was wiped out. We then scored the 3rd goal in the 88th minute to seal the win.
