My take on Derrick Baker: No one has any idea what he’s going to be, not Tennessee coaches or even Derrick Baker. It’s his first year of actually starting at QB. He’s built solidly, good athleticism, strong arm. However he’s got a ways to go before he’s ready to start, like 2-3 years minimum. Which is fine because we’ve got Faizon.
I think we’ve got him on a fairly low NIL deal since Faizon likely will want $4+ mil if he has a decent season. Maybe he turns into something, maybe not.
