I realize the competition plays a role but to amass those passing yards our WR will need to actually generate some separation this week. I’m concerned that could be an Achilles heel of this team for the season as we could have to rely on TE mismatches and scheme to get people open. Having at least one or two WR on the field who can work themselves open consistently is going to be critical. Right now it’s just Small with two other presumed starters unavailable indefinitely. Maybe the Everhart we saw in the Alamo Bowl will show up.
