It is Week 2 of the college football season and after an action-packed first week in the Big Ten, there is quite a bit to look forward to this weekend. The first week of the season was riddled with games that had top teams going against lesser programs, but that is not the case here. This week, the Big Ten not only has the marquee game of the week, but a few other games that pit Power 4 teams against each other. UCLA has its own game that will present challenges, but there are three marquee games that should help define the Big Ten Conference this season. Top 3 Marquee Games of Week 2 - No. 1 Ohio State at No. 4 Texas This is not only the marquee matchup of the Big Ten, but also of the weekend. When two top five teams go up against each other, it is always a big deal and this is no different. Both Ohio State and Texas are looking to get to the College Football Playoffs and this game will have a big impact on that. This is expected to be a close game as the Longhorns are -1.5 point favorites, but anything can happen when both teams hit the field for this Saturday night primetime game.  (Photo: Reuters) - No. 11 Oklahoma at Michigan This game also has some CFB implications, though probably less so, especially after Michigan's "win" over Western Michigan last weekend. Despite the disputed result, the Wolverines did not look good last weekend, prompting them to completely dropped out of the Top 25 this week, even after a win. Though this game is in Ann Arbor, Oklahoma has been given the edge. Considering the Sooners beat UTEP last week by 51 points, an Oklahoma win could beat the spread. Oklahoma is a -5.5 point favorite. - Mississippi State at Minnesota Minnesota had a statement win against Eastern Illinois in Week 1. The Gophers blew out the Panthers, 59-7, in a home game that should give Minnesota some momentum going forward, which they will need this week. Mississippi State is a team that will provide tougher competition after it routed Louisiana-Monroe last week, 62-13.
