I saw some highlights of both the Richmond and Villanova game and couldn’t help but think totally decimated of talent … we all know why. $$$$. I don’t blame these young men at all but not a great system for building a fan base What remains to be seen is how much the portal is going to affect the Non Power G6 schools because they are being looted as well… and the best FCS players are jumping over G6 completely. This should be a big advantage for Delaware as Carty and staff have done well promoting everything UD ….A QB destination … The G6 or Non power teams are currently 26-29 in OOC games vs (Power teams and FCS) 2-26 vs Power 24-3 vs FCS The 3 FCS wins vs G6 The Citadel over Charlotte in OT Idaho State beats Utah State Tarleton St beats Bowling Green The better FCS teams are still competitive against the bottom dwellers of G6….. but make no mistake, The Pool of the better FCS teams is being drained rapidly and might have a Baby Ruth floating amongst them somewhere.
