""Raise your hand if you can't wait for FB season""
Summary
Oline depth is primary concern; interior/tackles functional but backup injury problematic; defense talented but inconsistent; Faulkner scheme mitigates weaknesses; expect 40+ 4th-quarter points season total.
MVP Gator said... (original post) I’m stoked but I’m very concerned with oline especially the tackles show more I’m more worried about depth on the oline. I think they have the interior identified and the pieces at tackle for a functional oline, even if they haven’t decided who they are yet. Not sure we have any depth if someone goes down. But I trust traut to get them to good enough for Faulkner offense. It’s not gonna be great, but if it’s serviceable, Faulkner will scheme to mitigate the weaknesses. I’m not as worried as much as I was right after the spring game. I expect the defense to be generally good, I’m not sure who all starts in the secondary but there is talent, just need more consistency from them. Then the offense has to sustain drives to give the defense a chance. All those things happen, I think it could be a fun season and I think we’re in every game. And I’m gonna go out in a limb here and say we have more than 40 4th quarter points when it’s said and done next year.
