Bingo. That's an outlier in a game like this. If we won 27-24, it matters a lot more.
It's like a lot of the complaints. Irrelevant.
Smolik got praise for 10/16 for 59 yards. That's just insanity. If he didn't have that 47 yard run, he essentially did nothing today except escape pressure.
Some acted like Mason had some great game and gashed us. 14 for 76 at 5.4 ypc is gashing? Then why didn't they keep doing it?
All in all, we misfired just enough in the first quarter that Temple kept the score respectable until halftime.
