UCF vs Pitt Takeaways: Wow that was a brutal showing and somehow the Knights still showed life at the end… but crushed all hope as Alonza Barnett III got crushed and taken out of the game. Barnett certainly didn’t play a clean game but it wasn’t a horrible showing what made it appear horrible was the putrid performance from the O-line. Especially Henry Tabansi and Brady Wayburn. UCF’s leading receiver was Day-Day Farmer in yards with 52 and Waden Charles had the only receiving touchdown. The run game was non existent with just 20 yards on 22 attempts. Quick shout out to Tyren Hornes who made a good play. UCF defense kept them in this one the entire time without a stellar performance from the Knights. Particularly Lewis Carter and Horace Lockett. Jayden Bellamy had an opportunity for a pick but dropped it. For the amount of time the defense was on the field. It’s truly impressive Pitt didn’t score more. Special teams looked good- i’m talking about punt team, Atticus Bertrams. These are just some quick reactions. I’ll be having a full breakdown coming soon. But let’s make one thing clear if this UCF o-line plays like this for the rest of the season there will be real troubles for the rest of the season.
