USC's starters and key backups gave up plays, too. It's simply not true to suggest that it was the third and fourth string that gave up the points and yards. USC's defensive starters played for three quarters. At the end of three quarters Louisiana had 17 points and had TD drives of 75 yards and 81 yards, and USC's secondary had some major breakdowns. I don't care if people dislike my analyses--they may not be very good--but let's try to base our discussion on actual facts.
