Chill on the defense
Summary
DL/KICKER: IIRC… First Score (Q1) -- A 9-yard drive where the first team defense held them to a three-and-out and a 47-yard field goal after Maiava’s ill-advised pick.

IIRC…
First Score (Q1) -- A 9-yard drive where the first team defense held them to a three-and-out and a 47-yard field goal after Maiava’s ill-advised pick.
Second Score (Q2) -- Much of the 75-yard touchdown drive was against the “first-team” defense, but the first 51 yards was with the second-team d-line in the game—topped off by a rusty Braylan Shelby’s facemask penalty. And that big 2nd and 24 pass that got them down to the one was on Urlacher (not a starter). Love Kennedy going downhill. In coverage, not so much.
Third Score (Q3) -- An 81-yard drive that was mostly against the second-team defense. We did bring more ones back in when the got down to the red zone who would have held them to another field goal had it not been for Rock Hill’s roughing the kicker penalty.
The Ragin' Cajuns had precious little success moving the ball when Wafle, VanSumeran, Abasiri, and Crawford were in the game.
