Golesh in the post game interview
Summary
QB/OL: Something is VERY, VERY off with our offense.
The bad? Something is VERY, VERY off with our offense. I don’t know what it is, but it better get fixed, and it better get fixed real fu***** quick. Of course, the OL is a problem but anybody with a brain knew that was coming. I think it comes back to Byrum. I’m not sure what’s happening. One thing I do see is he’s a fu***** sissy. And I don’t just mean that in how he’s not about to take a hit for some yardage (which is debatable because you want him healthy). But he just prances around and plays scared/hesitant, lacks confidence, so on. I could be way off in some ways there because I don’t spend my Sundays and weeks breaking down our game film, but he just doesn’t have much so far. We should’ve lost the Baylor game by at least 14 points. That was basically a miracle.
Things are going to get pretty ugly against the Gators if we don’t tighten up just about everywhere. We got away with it all tonight through the talent difference, but…
The good?
He might not make it, but my god that was refreshing to see…the anger from Golesh. When’s the last time we had a coach that would react like that to what was truly a really bad display of football? Let’s see how/if he fixes it, but we finally have a coach that has a fu***** killer instinct. He’s got it. And I don’t think a single player on our team has it right now outside of a few defenders, but it needs to spread. (In all fairness, last year we didn’t have a single player who knew how to win, so a few is an improvement!)
This could be a PROCESSED FOR THE CULTURE YEAR. Fine by me. Just put a killer offense on the field with a killer qb, for the love of god.
