I have been being sarcastic on the board the last few days about stein not being the guy but you actually have to be brain dead to think that’s the case. We are not the next Indiana. They played a super weak schedule in year 1 and got steam rolled by Notre dame. Year 2 they hit on the portal and had an old team with players that had been together at JMU. Give Stein time. Before the season the national expectations was if he makes a bowl that would be a big step forward. Alabama had a top 5 defense. And NFL talent at every skill position. We lost to ALABAMA. Not Florida or South Carolina. It’s week 2 of year 1 not year 3 week 5. He will have us in the hunt within 2-3 years. We may get blown out by LSU and possibly next week by A&M but I would bet money no other team blows us out. Does anyone remember Dan Lanning got his doors blown off by Georgia in year 1, how’d that turn out for Lanning down the road?
