Probably true, but we were just down six points with a whole full quarter left to play at home. You just don’t attempt a fake punt in that scenario where we were on the field position. You make the young QB who had made some mistakes thru the game & an offense that had struggled too put points on the board earn it the harder way & not give them a shorter field to make it easier. Things went downhill quickly after that play.. I know Stein Reiterated just this week again how important special teams are & they talk about changing the game on them all the time. What would the analytics say you do in that scenario?
