I actually thought... show more He also becomes a blocker who can take on LBs and actually get a hat on them in space but I think blocking down on a big DE or trap blocking a DT is not where he will shine unlike Oakley. I think there is a great advantage to having a 6'5" guy who is a high hurdle state champion in space with a safety. I haven't seen the 6'3" guys do a lot of jump balls and win so far. I wasn't saying you run a short route over the middle and throw a jump ball---that is asking for a tipped ball and interception. If you are going to run short outs to the sideline he has the body and should have the athleticism unless the coaches have been blowing smoke up our a$$ to win those battles. Certainly preferable to the two picks and nearly a third on short sideline outs that they threw in this game. Throw it high and let him go get it or it sales out of bounds. Better than what we have seen so far on those routes. So far they have largely run deep routes and overthrown him. We have several WRs that have a set of wheels that can run deep posts and flags.
