The conundrum….you have to be able to run in order to pass and vice versa. Last year…with Hardy….we ran even when they brought an extra man down in the box…but we couldn’t do that against the very best teams on our schedule. This year…we look like we are able to get that extra person out of the box….so we have to be able to run against that 2 high safety look. Right now…without Hardy….We can’t do that. As the defenses get better…we will have difficulty throwing the ball. A great back makes an ordinary line look much better. That great back is t playing and we really have no idea if he ever will ….so by some miracle this line has to run block better or the OC has to scheme a way for the run game to improve. One thing has been shown the first two weeks…the bread and butter inside and outside zone runs aren’t working. Do we have something that will?
