Balls still being thrown behind receivers from a clean pocket, 2nd & 3rd reads being open but missed because he can't pull his eyes of the 1st read, QB keep opportunities being missed & runs being blown up in the backfield (with those last two being extremely subjective because without being in the huddle, hearing the play call, & actually knowing what any part of the play call means, it's impossible to know what the pass reads are & if runs that look like options/RPOs are actually options/RPOs) Though, after watching the rest of the game, I can admit that saying he hasn't shown any signs of improvement wasn't entirely fair but based on a 14/19 for ~61 air yards (for reference his 32/42 went for 160 air yards) stat line in the first half. There is definitely improvement in his decision making, but I think a couple of others summarized it better than I did...ultimately he is a replacement level P4 QB (which makes sense, as that's what ~$1.5M/year gets you in 2026) who is going to be good enough to not get you beat (also agreed that he wasn't even remotely the biggest issue today & actually did essentially everything he could to keep us in that game), but isn't going to go out and be the entire reason you win a game that you don't deserve to win
