Here are 4 simple changes that Purdue needs to make, which should help them from again being the cellar dwellers!
One:: Throw the ball as much as possible, especially to the tight end who is normally open. As you may remember, BYU won a national champion ship throwing the ball on almost every down!
Two: Stop wasting a down! Most teams nowadays, for some reason, if they are in 2nd and short normally run to make a first down. To me that's a wasted down. Instead go for a long pass. If it fails there is still 3th down to try and pick up a first!
Three: Blitz frequently!
Four: Make the simple change that Bud Wilkinson did at Oklahoma that started them on their 47 game win streak. Does anyone out there remember what it was?
