Actually, in the BC game there was a huge improvement as soon as they changed LBs. All of a sudden in the 2nd half he finally benched #41 Allison (I don’t think he played another snap the rest of the game), and we limited BC to just 1 TD (8 points), the 78-yard 1-play breakdown. We actually stopped them every other drive in the second half. #16 and #2 played, I’m not sure if either of them played alongside Allison before bc I was so focused on him bc of bewilderment. But the D noticeably improved stopping the run, containing the QB, and defending WRs over the middle once the LB switch was made. It gives small hope for some future games if we can stop the turnovers on O and they don’t put #41 back in.
