I suppose that is the hope. Even good teams have clunkers. Had the offense been executed well, we probably would have had 3 more TDs and we're looking at 60ish-9 win. Beamer insists the drops and fumbles are not happening in practice, but as long he's been here, after a poor performance he's always said we had a great week of practice leading up to the game. Every SEC team is much bigger, much faster and much stronger than Towson. My hopeful thinking is that our players didn't have the right mindset going into the game given the level of the opposition and that they'll show up focused on Saturday. If we play Saturday like we did against Towson, we'll lose in a non-competitive game. No matter what anyone says about not taking anything from the game, it's a load of bull to say any of us thinks one first half TD against Towson bodes well.
