I will add one more comment to this whole thing. A good team (both defense and offense) is complementary. Having a good defense gives an offense more opportunities to produce, and a good offense sustains drives and gives the defense rest to sustain high defensive performance. In SJSU, a dumb INT at the end of the game by Jonas gave the SJSU offense a short field. If we sustain that drive or just run/chuck the ball away, that last 8pts may not even happen, and we get a final score of 42-16, which I think we would look differently at. In Louisiana a dumb Maiava INT gave Louisiana 3 free pts. I also know Rock Hill on special teams caused a missed FG to turn into a TD. That’s a 10 point swing, and would have resulted in a 49-20 game (with sloppy defensive play). Point is we have to clean up a lot going forward. Too many penalties and bad plays on defense and offense hurts us FTFO ✌️
