In some ways Herman was definitely worse from a personality and antics standpoint, but Tom at least gave us some great football wins - wins that actually meant something, albeit that was obviously short lived. The Notre Dame game was a great moment, but fool’s gold as we all know. It had zero lasting impact. Tom gave us 2018 at the very least, which is the best we had (ugh) in the entire 2010’s. Again, ugh! That’s incredible that a 10-4 season was the best at Texas for an entire decade. How did that f’n happen? We all know why, but It still baffles the shīt out of me.
