A lot of what you say is true, but you may be too harsh of the OC. Several quick outs were called for receivers which did gain some yardage until SDSU caught on and started stuffing them. A lot of the problem for this offense is that Nico is not accurate down the field, and he doesn't read defenses well. He's a great runner but is not accurate enough to roll him out of the pocket. He continues to make head scratching throws into the end zone that have cost us points in tight games. I don' know what the OC can do about Nico getting several of this his throws batted down every game dating back to last season. The tackle play has not been stellar, but he has been mostly upright this year. I'm just not sure that he will ever be the accurate passer you need for elite college teams or the NFL.
