I’m starting to see that narrative pop up, Igoe over at HTC247 shared advanced stats implying the same. App felt firmly in control from about midway through the second quarter on. If it wasn’t for shooting ourselves in the foot in a couple instances, score would have ended up a lot worse. I’m still a bit puzzled as to why I keep seeing comments about ECU being some significantly more talented team. App has the better QB, deeper RB and WR rooms, better LB play, and I’ll take our secondary over theirs. They do have guys on the DL, and we will need to sure up the run D, but was very impressed with the pass rush. Especially Sandstrom. I think Loggains deserves a ton of credit for the roster reshape he and his staff undertook in the offseason, and the way his team has come out these first two weeks. I’m impressed with Loggains growth from year 1 to year 2.
