If they aren't sharp enough at the top of their routes and are an easy cover, they aren't getting open. If the big guys can't get even a sliver of separation on their digs, outs and flies/fades - they aren't getting open. And if the fast guys aren't running by anyone to help over the top, they aren't getting open. You can watch a game and see if guys are doing this all the time - the regular camera view, the views from behind the QB, the indivual player cam views. And it's been said here multiple times that's a concern around the team. Noah has a hard enough time as it is staying in the pocket, finding windows and not blowing up plays...it's the receivers responsibilities above to run routes hard, crisp, fast and tight...and look for the ball. There's clearly a disconnect here considering Hunter and Spivey can't get the ball, and I think most of us don't look at a 4th year QB who's been very successful as the most likely culprit. Does this help without breaking down game film? Of which I have had to sit through many many many hours of.
