My biggest gripe when we hired Morris was the fact that he hasn’t called plays in 6 years and that he was too familiar of a name. I think he would have been a good QB coach (Boyd’s position) and have someone else be an OC. I just didn’t think we were in a position to make another risky hire, but what do I know. The fact that we may have been able to pull in Buster Faulkner but didn’t want to give him any personnel/assistant autonomy told me how much Dabo was willing to change. If Dabo is gone, he would be my dream hire to take over at Clemson. That could change but I’m a fan of Faulkner so far.
