Smaller initial ratings that eventually grew.  Makes no sense why USA would have reported week 2 #s, but not week 1.  Either something happened or they didn't break 143K so they didn't show up. www.sportsmediawatch.com/college-football-tv-ratings/?smwlb_topic=&smwlb_search= Sometimes they can't report, though.  Like when something falls out of a timeslot.  Usually that is something running too long.  When you have a series of games 1 after the other, usually they can get around those rules, though.  But maybe something fell too far out of timeslot for them to get numbers that worked out right, so they can't report.  Usually, unless the numbers are just a trainwreck, you want to report, though.  Or there could also just be a reporting issue.  It's hard to guess @ without additional information.
