I know we paid CJ, but the UVA game would have been close in the 4th if we ran the Will Wilson package the whole game. Run clock, run the rock, and throw to tight ends. Our D will be fine against the rest of the schedule. It's boring, but it will produce more wins than letting CJ try and read a defense. That will get us 8 wins with this schedule. We paid 3 million for CJ. That money would have been better spent keeping Hollywood, Terrell Anderson, getting a stud TE, and a difference maker on defense. What infuriates me the most about DD is his inability to evaluate the tallent he has. Once again, just like in 22 and 24, DD came out saying how great we are. The one thing I know for sure is that DD is incapable of identifying blatant holes in our program. Even his best teams look like sheet in the first part of the season.
