They don't think profit / loss and sure as hell don't know how to run sports teams like a business. TBH, if they could focus and fix anything I'd opt for them to be fiscally conservative and lower the costs on the academic side. Throwing more tax dollars at institutions isn't fixing anything, its making it worse bc they live in fairly land and think that's just how it is.
