Whatever Bison’s reasoning for locking it (he didn't provide one), by that point the thread was no longer simply about a former player having a good game. It had devolved into arguments about Hejny’s NIL, whether he should have played, Gundy’s tenure, Mestemaker’s compensation and whether the current staff made the wrong QB decision. That’s a very different thread. Equating that with former Cowboys now playing in the NFL is a false equivalency.
And instead of simply asking Scott privately, tagging him or putting the question in the mailbag, you created a public thread about the moderator’s decision and invoked the “247 brand.” That certainly reads as performative rather than a straightforward policy question. Attempting to manufacture a corporate liability just because you didn't like a moderator's call isn't a policy question; it's an appeal to authority.
