Listen, turnovers are nice, but I’d rather have sure fire tackles than trying to force the ball out and missing then the other team breaking off a huge run. Now obviously I want my cake and I wanna eat it too. Give me a Clowney hit on that Michigan running back over and over haha! In all seriousness though, getting turnovers is awesome and definitely gives an advantage, but I’d be more concerned with them being a sound defense that doesn’t let the run game gash them for 5-10 ypc. Two to three defenders on him? Have two ripping/punching etc while the one tackles. Again, solidify the tackle and make the attempt.
