When you’re as invested as a lot of us here have been over the years, the last 15 have been very difficult to watch. Lots of frustration. Sometimes you just need a break from it all regardless of the reasons.
Sweatin, you have your reasons for stepping away, but I would also encourage you to treat this sabbatical as a break as opposed to a disconnect. We have stories about dwindling numbers at tailgates, at games, etc. But the bottom line is that we still need fans, loyal fans that don’t quit. There’s always going to be the self serving Eeyores out there trying to drag as many fans down with them as they can, but that’s the exception and not the rule. There’s some good things happening, hang in there with us.
BTW, Glyn, thanks for working your hind end off to bring us good, detailed content. Have learned to watch football games much differently, it’s a lot more than just following the ball. Thank you.
