Summary
QB: If the O isn't moving the chains regularly, then put in qb #2, #3, etc.
If the O isn't moving the chains regularly, then put in qb #2, #3, etc. whoever it takes to move the ball. The blow to the qb's ego is no longer an issue considering they are hired guns now.
