With all the criticism the team has gotten from everyone on the board(including myself), I'm taking a step back and trying to identify positives. Positives listed below. - We're 2-0 - We still have talent that many teams in the Big 12 don't have - We won on the road in a tricky place with less than ideal conditions. - We'll get Trey White and Brendan Jordan back and I believe this will be a huge boost on defense - Redzone play was very efficient - J'Koby Williams is a dog and deserves the lead back role at this point. - Castellanos will be very useful in the redzone With all of that being said, one thing has really been bothering me still and that's the lack of energy this team has seemingly lacked throughout the first two games. The team has seemed mentally slow and unmotivated. I believe everything from the offseason has played a factor. I think last year a huge piece of our success was the energy we played with from start to finish and we don't have that right now. This is where CJM needs to come in and find a way to fire this team up. EDIT: There are more positives but these we're some that came to mind.
