I’m maybe in the minority, but I think Demond should get way more of the blame pie than is being handed out. Yes, the O line has regressed. Yes, our RBs are not B10 quality. Yes, our WRs are young. But Demond isn’t seeing things, lacks confidence, isn’t anticipating, and isn’t as accurate as he can and needs to be. That doesn’t mean he isn’t the best player. That doesn’t mean I want him benched. But the QB is out there to lead and execute the offense, and he simply isn’t getting it done. Given what we allocate to him with $, he needs to step it up.
