Kirby Smart on the Georgia offensive line: 'We can be as good as we need to be'
Summary
Tolliver/Smith provide guard-center flexibility; emergency depth available despite spring injuries (Bobo out, Helton proved capable).
Nice to have the wild cards of Tolliver or Smith available to play guard or center if needed. It wasn’t a luxury for spring with Bobo out and fielding two teams, plus Helton showing out as suspected. But both got valuable opportunities last year and proved they can be counted on if there number gets called. Hopefully the injury bug doesn’t bite us, but we do have emergency depth, and Kirby knows it despite that coach speak.
