Ive read a lot about people complaining of scheduling and too many P4 teams to start out season and scaling back/scheduling issues (blaming AD etc). Im honestly curious would people prefer us to play a pre season schedule full of Idaho, Eastern and Portland State etc with a chance to win and then roll into an already watered down conference or give ourself a chance to book bigger games with some hope of pulling off an upset. Dont let one season kill your desire for David vs Goliath matchups (even if its just Arizona or Colorado). Embrace it and hope for a team with some heart bc one or two of those wins will be worth a whole season of medicority and wishes that somehow we will make the college football playoffs. Fans are already tuning out not booking less than 3 of 4 non conference games vs P4 will only further contribute to that trend IMO.
