The NCAA said last night (FBS Oversight Committee) “the instant replay protocols were not followed in the contest second to last play. Had the protocol has been followed, the outcome of the game would have been different.” Furthermore, the Oversight Committee said it cant overturn the results because it doesnt have the authority, which begs even more questions: *If they dont have the authority, who does? *If thats the case, what is the purpose of the oversight committee and why are they reviewing this and making a public statement about this monumental mistake? As a result, NCAA issued new guidance "to establish a standard timing protocol that ensures consistency in the administration of all college football games." There you have it folks. This isnt even home cooking anymore. This is proof of entire league cooking because one of the 2 premier conferences in the game cant afford a black eye on national tv from their little brother. The refs should also face sever penalties for this major debacle, IMO.……. https://sports.yahoo.com/articles/ncaa-acknowledges-michigan-hail-mary-010529447.html https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/49961280/fbs-oversight-committee-says-overturn-wmu-loss
