There are some key changes to the group, with injuries and positional battles at practice changing who got the starting spot. He's progressing in the right direction, and I'll probably have more information on that as we move forward. He's doing well." He was in the treatment room today, and with the team again * Jaedn Skeete is behind Dawson Pough as a starter. Given O'Brien's recent comments, this isn't a surprise.  * Cameron McGee is starting over Sampson, he started last week but is in there now as a full time starter. "Cam practiced well, and he deserved the oppirtunity to start against Rutgers," O'Brien said on Tuesday. * Defensive back Syair Torrence is on there as an "or" with Ashton Cunningham. He suited up for the first time on Saturday since a knee injury in 2025, but did not record a snap. * KP Price has moved from safety to nickelback and cornerback TJ Green to safety. Price plays all over the place so that isn't a surprise, Green is one of the faster players on the team, wondering if they think he can cover more ground.  * Bo MacCormack and Michael Crounse are both still listed on the depth chart, so is Onye Nwosisi. O'Brien didn't give any updates on the later two, but spoke on MacCormack. "I don't think it's long-term, I think he'll be back. He might be back this week. It's a shoulder. He's tough. He's tough as nails, but we'll see. I would say he would definitely be back for Virginia Tech." * Chris Marable Jr. is not on the depth chart, O'Brien did not mention anything on what his status is.
