I feel like the only players in the secondary I've noticed effectively playing their zone coverage over the course of the first 2 games are Gordon and KC. Todd is solid and versatile, I wish we had a clone of him to play every position in the secondary. Cannon was a mess. I thought against LIU he wasn't great, and that Gibbs should be in that spot and I stand by that, partially because Gibbs is awful as an outside corner. I don't know, maybe it should even be Taylor Davis in the nickel and then Gordon + KC as the safeties. Whatever they're doing isn't working, and honestly at this point I think it's a DK and Shelby problem. I was giving DK the benefit of the doubt, but the problems from last year have not resolved even with guys that fit the defensive scheme better. We'll see if they figure it out throughout the season. There's a degree to which I'm hoping Zeke and the OL figure things out, but I've got zero expectation that the secondary will.
