Colorado receiver Danny Scudero missed camp with a lower-body injury and has played 49 snaps through two games. Deion Sanders said he was unsure Scudero would be healthy for Northwestern; the writer assesses him as doubtful, not an official designation. More work for Quentin Gibson, Kam Perry or Ernest Campbell is a possibility, not a confirmed rotation.

Colorado center Demetrius Hunter has no clear return date after his Week 1 injury and absence against Weber State. The writer expects Sean Kinney to start again, rather than reporting a new coach-confirmed decision. Offensive linemen Taj White and Jose Soto are also not expected to play; Soto was seen on crutches, without a diagnosis supplied here.

Colorado defensive ends Sam Gadie and Yamil Talib were seen in full practice attire, but neither has played this season; Talib remains questionable in the report. Vili Taufatofua's outlook is still unclear after missing two games. Freshman linebacker Rodney Colton Jr. has worked with the defensive ends amid the shortages. Practice participation is not game clearance.

Colorado DL Tyler Moore wore a red non-contact jersey in practice videos, leaving his status uncertain despite appearing only mildly limited. Malachi Brown reported a torn labrum and is expected to miss an extended period. Receiver Hykeem Williams and safety Jaydan Hardy are also not expected to play at Northwestern; these are the article's outlooks, not a formal team injury report.

Sanders said Elliot Arnold is Colorado's only healthy placekicker. The writer therefore expects Arnold to handle field goals and kickoffs against Northwestern. Sanders did not give specific updates on Daniel Gerlach or Cadel Ayala, so their diagnoses, return dates and any emergency roles remain unconfirmed.
