TCU RB Jon Denman discusses upcoming Arkansas State game
Summary
RB/LB: TCU has showed some success running the football through the first two games of the season.
TCU has showed some success running the football through the first two games of the season. In last week's win over Grambling State, the Frogs rushed for 285 yards. Currently, the Frogs are averaging 195.5 yards per game, which ranks 44th nationally. Although Jeremy Payne leads the rushing attack with 221 yards on 34 carries, sophomore Jon Denman has shown to be a steady presence in the backfield. Denman has rushed for 60 yards on 14 carries and leads the Frogs with two touchdowns. In last week's win over Grambling State, he had a season-long rush of 28 yards and added a one-yard scoring run. Denman will be needed again this week as the Frogs host Arkansas State. The Red Wolves rushing defense, which allows 203.5 yards on the ground per game, could be a big indication that Denman and the rest of his running back crew is ready for a big game. On Wednesday, Denman met with the media to discuss the Frogs' rushing attack, where he needs to improve, and his thoughts on playing Arkansas State. See what Denman had to say in the video above!
