Moving On…
Summary
Pick/market: Ryan has always been pretty good at fixing what’s broken as long as he acknowledges that it’s broken in the first place.
Ryan has always been pretty good at fixing what’s broken as long as he acknowledges that it’s broken in the first place. I don’t think anyone other than the most delusional expected 12-0. Personally, if we were going to lose one, losing to a desperate Sark and Texas at their stadium was probably the most acceptable of the games on the schedule.
A lot of our most talented players are still young—I believe we’re one of the 2–3 youngest teams in CFB. With a relatively easy stretch coming up, I expect those young guys to get a ton of reps, especially with redshirting essentially no longer being a factor. That experience is how you develop an identity.
Fortunately, Oregon clearly isn’t as good as everyone expected, and Michigan looks beatable despite the Oklahoma win. 10-2 is still very much on the table.
